Inca trail to Machu Picchu 2D/1N

The Inca Trail 2D / 1N covers the last part of the classic walk and the descent towards the city-sanctuary of Machu Picchu. It is a simple walk designed for those passengers who have little time in Cusco, combines the experience of the Inca Trail, the guided tour to Machu Picchu and a night in the town of Aguas Calientes.

Pick up early from your hotel for your transfer to the Poroy train station. The train ride covers 104 kilometers / 64.6 miles (4 hours), at kilometer 104 of the Cusco-Machu Picchu train line the Inca Trail begins towards Wiñaywayna first, then you walk to Inti punko (“sun gate”), From here we have a panoramic view of Machu Picchu, to finally reach Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.

Today we take the first bus to Machu Picchu. Here we will have the guided tour to the citadel. It is possible to make the optional hike to the mountain in the form of the Huayna Picchu pyramid from where there is a great panoramic view of the Inca citadel.
