LIMA -HUACACHINA- CUSCO 8 DAYS 7 NIGHTS

Breakfast at the hotel.

At 8:00 AM, we will take private transport to the bus terminal to board the bus to the city of Ica (approx. 5 hours); the bus departs at 9:00 AM.

Upon arrival—around 1:30 PM—we will be picked up at the terminal and transferred via private transport to Huacachina (a 10-minute drive).

Check-in at the hotel.

-In the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, we will take a guided dune buggy tour (approx. 2 hours); sandboarding from the highest points of the dunes is included, and you will be picked up directly from the hotel.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

-We recommend taking an evening stroll along the oasis promenade and climbing to the top to snap a photo that will make your best friends green with envy.

Early private transfer to the terminal to board the bus to Lima.

We take the bus to Lima and then transfer to the airport for the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival at the airport, our staff will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name; you will then be transferred by private vehicle to your hotel.

The afternoon and evening are free for you to acclimatize to the altitude; we recommend getting plenty of sleep, avoiding excessive walking, and drinking lots of water. Be sure to visit the Plaza de Armas and the surrounding area.

Overnight at the hotel.

-Breakfast at the hotel.

– At 8:00 AM, we must be at the INCA RAIL office (Av. Sol No. 843 – Block 6), located just a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas.

From there, we will take the bus to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo, where you will board the tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes—the gateway to the Machu Picchu archaeological site. The bus departs at 8:30 AM, and the train departs at 11:15 AM.

-The train journey to this beautiful town takes approximately two hours; along the way, you will see the landscape transform from mountain terrain into high jungle (or cloud forest). Upon arrival at the Aguas Calientes station, hotel staff will be waiting to escort you to the hotel for check-in.

-Free time to explore Aguas Calientes, visit the hot springs, see the Mandor Waterfall, and much more.

-Overnight stay at the hotel.

-Early breakfast at the hotel, followed by a 5-minute walk to the bus station to head up to the Machu Picchu archaeological site.

-Tour of the archaeological site (approximately 2–3 hours), where we will enjoy breathtaking views, learn about its enigmatic history, and take amazing photos of this unique location.

-Bus ride back down after the tour.

-We must be at the Aguas Calientes train station by 2:00 PM; the train departs at 2:30 PM for Ollantaytambo station.

-Shared transfer to the city of Cusco (dropping off at the Inca Rail office), located very close to the hotel; we can either walk or take a taxi.

-Free evening.

-Overnight stay at the same hotel in Cusco.

-Departure between 4:15 and 4:45 AM for the «Mountain of Colors» (Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain). Breakfast en route.

-We will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring traditional cuisine from the Cusco region.

-Approximately 2-hour hike up to the Mountain of Colors, located at an altitude of over 5,000 meters. The hike is truly worth it; good physical health is required, as the altitude makes the trek demanding. The photos you can take at the summit are absolutely stunning.

-Return to Cusco (drop-off near the Plaza de Armas/your hotel).

-Free evening in Cusco.

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport in time for the flight to Lima, and upon arrival, a private transfer to the same hotel in Lima.

Breakfast at the hotel, private transfer to the airport at the appropriate time for your international flight home.
