The Peruvian Andes have 1769 glaciers with around 1200 high Andean lakes and the 3 deepest canyons in the world. Peru has 13% of the tropical forests that exist on earth, 25,000 recognized species of plants, 10% of all those that exist in the world, 4400 native plants used by people. The total of arachnids is proportional to the number of plants that is why we have half of the arachnid species found in the neo-tropics.
